I. PRIVACY POLICY
CosanClear is built to be a high-performance utility that respects the digital boundaries of its users. This policy details our commitment to on-device processing and the limited scope of our technical interactions.
On-Device Analysis & Data Isolation
CosanClear provides a singular utility: scanning for obsolete APK files, residual data from uninstalled applications, and temporary system caches.
Hermetic Processing: To perform its function, the App requires permission to access your device’s file system. However, all scanning and analysis are performed strictly on your local device.
Zero Extraction: We do not possess the technical capability to upload, mirror, or inspect the contents of your files on external servers. Your storage remains an isolated environment.
No Personal Profiling: We do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, or any data that could identify you personally.
Technical Ecosystem & Third-Party Services
While your personal files never leave your device, we utilize specific third-party frameworks to maintain app health and understand our market reach.
Firebase (Google): We use this for real-time crash diagnostics. If the app fails, a technical stack trace is generated to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These platforms identify the source of your installation. They process pseudonymized technical identifiers, such as your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
Security Shield: These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing your file system or associating technical data with your real-world identity.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
We believe you should have total authority over your digital presence. You are entitled to the following rights:
Right to Know (Sharing & Selling): You have the right to know if your data is shared or sold. CosanClear does not sell your personal data. Sharing is strictly limited to the technical partners listed in Section 2 for operational optimization.
Right of Access: You have the right to request a report on any personal data we hold. Since your files are local, you can access them directly via the app; for technical telemetry logs, you may contact our DPO.
Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we or our partners possess.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the deletion of your data. Uninstalling CosanClear immediately purges all local scan history. For technical logs held by partners, you may contact our DPO to facilitate a request.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the explicit right to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates your privacy.
Opt-Out and Control Mechanisms
You have the power to stop the sharing of technical identifiers:
Blocking Data Sale/Sharing: While we do not "sell" data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings.
Permission Management: You may revoke storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly disable all scanning capabilities.
Retention Lifecycle & Circumstances
Local Scan Metadata: This data is ephemeral. It exists only in your device’s volatile memory during an active session and is purged when the app is closed.
Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period required for aggregate performance analysis—typically 12 to 24 months—before being purged or fully anonymized.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process information under the following legal foundations:
Contractual Necessity: Local processing of your file system is required to deliver the specific cleaning services you have requested.
Legitimate Interests: We process non-sensitive technical IDs to secure our application, troubleshoot bugs, and evaluate our commercial visibility.

II. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
License Grant
CosanClear grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Application for your personal, non-commercial maintenance, subject to your compliance with this agreement.
Usage Restrictions
By utilizing CosanClear, you agree not to:
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the scanning engine.
Use the app to intentionally interfere with the performance of other software or system stability.
Modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software.
Intellectual Property
The CosanClear name, branding, user interface, and proprietary algorithms remain the exclusive property of the developer. This license does not transfer ownership rights to the user.
Disclaimer of Warranty
CosanClear is provided "AS IS." While we strive for absolute precision, we do not warrant that the application will identify every redundant file or remain entirely free from technical errors. You are responsible for reviewing items flagged for removal before confirming deletion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CosanClear and its creators shall not be liable for any accidental loss of data, performance degradation, or indirect damages resulting from the use or misuse of the software.
Termination
This agreement is effective until terminated by you (via uninstallation) or by us. We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
